The Royal Exchange Hotel in Kadina prides itself on being a family friendly, community minded venue. Hosting 888 Poker, Karaoke nights, Birthday parties and various other events, the hotel provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for any occasion.
Facilities include a large dining area, saloon bar, al fresco undercover area, Sip'n Save bottleshop and extensive gaming facilities.
Situated across from Victoria Square and in a central location within Kadina, South Australia, make us your next destination on the Yorke Peninsula.
History
Established in 1861 as the Exchange Hotel, it was later renamed The Royal Exchange Hotel following a visit from royalty, after WG Grace visited the hotel in 1874. The hotel once had the longest verandah and balcony in South Australia, and when some was removed, the stone and railing was used to erect the Rotunda in Victoria Square.
The hotel has had numerous renovations and extensions over the last 100 years with many more planned. The hotel has had over 30 different publicans since 1861, with the Pomery Family currently operating the hotel since 2016.
Dining
Our spacious Parkview Dining Room seats 170 people, and is fantastic for large group celebrations and small get-togethers alike.
The area boasts a beautiful, high ceiling with large wooden roof beams, a water feature, beverage bar, and an open kitchen.
We serve lunch and dinner 7 days with different specials available throughout the week. The large salad and vegie smorgasboard compliments a variety of menu choices ranging from King George whiting to a tender scotch fillet. Parents will also find fantastic value for money in the children's meal options.
